General description

Sampling:

Put detector on measured surface, press the power button on tester side for 2 seconds. Press the SEL button to choose STUD/METAL/AC live test. Press Reset button again, a "Didi" sound means sampling OK.

Operation:

After sampling, Move along measured surface, when detect STUD, analog bar begin to display; When all bar display and and sound "Didi", mark this first position. 

Put detector on measured surface, re-sampling and move from opposite side to the first marked position. when detect STUD, analog bar begin to display; When all bar display and and sound "Didi", mark this second position. 

Repeat test for some times, if the alarm is repeat. STUD may exist between the first and second marked position. 

Detector will not show analog bar or sound when there is no STUD.

Test for some times to get a accurate result.
